October could possibly be my favorite month of the year or at least in the top 12. I love the smell of fall. From dying ferns and changing leaves to apples and cinnamon, I adore this season. The increasing traffic on our mountain roads is an indicator that I am not alone. I am a genuine leaf-looker. I make it a point to stop and enjoy the changes each day. I hope you do too.
This issue is jam packed with great articles, recipes and a calendar full of things to keep you busy. It’s a wonderful time of the year in the mountains and we invite you to visit with us and enjoy the glorious display of fall leaves as they evolve. Come hungry because no matter which town you visit the food just tastes better here, the breezes are a bit breezier, sunsets and sunrises a dab more vibrant and the pace is relaxing. The mountains are calling….
