Greenville Triumph owners to speak at Endeavor’s Collaborators & Cocktails on March 19
Trio brings one of the fastest growing US professional sport to Greenville
Endeavor, a coworking space for creatives, agencies and corporate marketing teams in the heart of downtown, announces that the owners of Greenville’s newest professional sports team, Greenville Triumph SC, will speak at its next Collaborators & Cocktails speaker series on March 19. Members of the ownership group Joe Erwin, Shannon Wilbanks and Doug Erwin will share the successes and challenges they experienced in their entrepreneurial journey to build a brand, a team and a community of diverse fans.
Joe Erwin and Shannon Wilbanks will share the story behind the leap into their latest venture, how it impacts Greenville’s economic development, the newly-built 4,100 seat stadium at Legacy Early College, the Triumph’s award-winning coach (National Soccer Hall of Fame member John Harkes), player recruitment, the inaugural season opening game on April 6, and their excitement about helping re-introduce Greenville’s west side to the Upstate.
Co-owner and Chief Brand Officer Doug Erwin will go behind the scenes on what it took to create the Greenville Triumph brand from the ground up – from the critical initial challenges of naming and logo design that tie into the heart of Greenville’s history and its future, to developing the right mix of marketing, advertising, PR, social media, fan engagement and community outreach to launch pro soccer in the Upstate.
Collaborators & Cocktails starts with networking at 5 p.m., followed by the presentation and Q&A session at 5:45 p.m. The event is free to all Endeavor members and corporate members, with a limited number of advance purchased guest tickets available for $30. Registration is required. No walk-ins admitted. Contact [email protected] for ticket information.
