Georgia Mountain Laurel Magazine

With over a dozen folk potters, up to 20 art, studio and self taught potters, and with 500 visitors and shoppers, this event has grown to become one of SNCA's largest outdoor offerings! Some of northeast Georgia's best traditional craftspeople will be on the grounds of the Heritage Site demonstrating fiber arts, woodworking, leather and stonework, among others. Members of our own Chattahoochee Blacksmith Guild will be working in the blacksmith shop. New this year will be food service by Sheilah's Village Market in the SNCA Community Hall. In the Folk Pottery Museum, we will continue to feature the work of W.J. (Bill) Gordy in our changing exhibit gallery. The event will operate from 10 am to 4 pm throughout the Museum and the campus of the Sautee Nacoochee Center, where the Museum is located. Admission to all events will be free on Saturday, September 3.
